The government aims to provide free COVID-19 vaccines to every Maldivian citizen without any discrimination, said the president.

While over 270 days have passed since the first case of COVID-19 was registered in the Maldives, over 13,000 positive cases have been recorded to date. Over 91 percent of patients have recovered, and the number of active cases is 898.
