Qatar Airways has increased the number of flights operating to the Maldives.
Qatar Airways was the first airline to recommence operation to the Maldives after the archipelago reopened its borders following a period of closure due to COVID-19. The airline has been operating two weekly schedule flights since July. In a statement issued by the airline on Thursday, it announced that the airline is increasing the number of flights from two weekly flights to three effective from December 10.
25 different airlines are now operating to the Maldives since border reopening.
