The Parliament will formally open for 2021 on February 4.
The first sitting for the year will open with President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih giving his annual presidential address at the Parliament. His address will focus on the current situation of the country, as well as forecasts and plans for the future.
The date of the sitting has been declared as a public holiday by the President’s Office.
