The Maldives has recorded its second COVID-19 death in 24 hours.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), an 86-year old male brought to state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial HOspital (IGMH)'s ER in an unresponsive state was declared dead at 4:20 pm on Friday. This is the 69th COVID-19 death recorded in the Maldives.
