Maldivian authorities on Thursday captured five foreign boats trespassing in the Maldives' Exclusive Economic Zone.
The boats were found 30 nautical miles inside the EEZ between between M. atoll and V. atoll. The boats were sighted while one of MNDF's Coastguard vessels was patrolling the area.
MNDF's Media Official Captain Ibrahim Azim said the vessels are now being brought to the capital.
