The COVID-19 toll in the Maldives surpassed 100 on Monday with four deaths recorded over the past 24 hours.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), a 64 year old Maldivian male admitted at the DH11 facility at Dharumavantha Hospital passed away early morning at 00:14 am. A second patient at the same facility, a 56 year old local female passed away later at 04:41 am. The third death occurred at 6:00 pm when a 70 year old Maldivian female admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility passed away. The fourth death was recorded at 10:00pm when a 74 year old local male brought to the ER of state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital was declared dead.
The country's toll is now at 102.
