MNP opens party office in Male' City

Maldives National Party (MNP) has opened its office in Male' City. The office was opened at Noomarakaige in Hennveiru by the main founder of the party and Dhangethi MP, Mohamed Nazim.

Those interested in registering for the party may submit their membership forms at the office between 10:00 am and 11:00 pm every day of the week, except Friday.

The Election Commission approved to establish MNP earlier on July 15 to VilliMale' MP and Nazim's cousin, Ahmed Usham. In addition to Usham and Nazim, Thimarafushi MP Abdulla Riyaz, Nilandhoo MP Abdul Muhsin Abdul Hameed and Nolhivaram MP Mohamed 'Mostar' Nasheed are involved in establishing the party. In a press conference held earlier this week, MP Nazim said the party aims to bring forth a candidate for the 2023 presidential race, and expressed confidence that the party will win the election.
