The number of COVID-19 cases in Addu City has climbed up to 1,075.
According to Addu Equatorial Hospital, nine new cases were identified over the past 24 hours. The statistics shared by the hospital show 305 cases are active in Addu City. This includes 138 cases in Maradhoo, 86 cases in Hithadhoo, 32 cases in Meedhoo, 28 cases in Feydhoo, 10 in Maradhoo Feydhoo, and 10 in Hulhudhoo. Four people are admitted at hospitals.
685 people who are direct contacts of positive cases are in quarantine at this time. Results of some 219 samples are still pending.
