The Maldives has recorded a new COVID-19 death.
According to the Health Protection Agency (HPA), an 86-year-old local male admitted at the Addu Covid Facility passed away at 12:10 am early Tuesday. This is the 10th COVID-19 death of the month, increasing the country's toll to 241.
The Maldives recorded 149 positive cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The archipelago's tally is at 87,071.
