An individual has been injured after a gas cylinder exploded in a home in Male' City.
Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) received reports of the incident at 3:21 pm on Wednesday. The incident occurred on the first floor of a home named Olhuhaa in Maafannu ward. The injured individual is receiving treatment for burns at the hospital, MNDF said.
The fire that ensued has been put out.
