A home in Gn. Fuvahmulah caught on fire on Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out around 10:40 am in a home named 'Vanavaru' in Hoadhandu ward of Fuvahmulah city. MNDF officers put out the fire with the help of the public around 10:55 am.
MNDF said the incident likely occurred when a dimmer installed in a bathroom of the house caught on fire. Details on the damages caused to the home are unknown as the Fuvahmulah City Council was not reachable. However, photos shared by MNDF media show significant fire damage to the house's interior and household items.
