The opposing Progressive Coalition Friday held a rally calling to defend the Maldives' independence.
The 'Maldivians in Defense of Independence' rally began in front of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) headquarters in Male' City. The participants called to end the Indian military's influence on the police training school established in southernmost Addu City during the rally.
