The Elections Commission has publicized the voters' list for the KOmandoo constituency by-election.
An announcement gazetted by the Elections Commission on Wednesday said the voters' list has been publicized and can be checked from the gazette, the commission's website, and the island councils of Sh. Komandoo, Foakaidhooo and Maroshi. Any complaints regarding the list must be submitted by email before January 2, 2022. The complaint form will be available for download on the commission's website and from the councils of the three islands.
The Komandoo seat became vacant following the death of MP Hussain Waheed, who succumbed to cancer on December 14. While the by-election has been slated for February 5, 2022, the final results will be announced on February 10.
