Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will make an official visit to the Maldives from 28 – 30 January 2022, on the invitation of the Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid.
During this visit, Minister Çavuşoğlu will pay a courtesy call on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Speaker of the People’s Majlis, President Mohamed Nasheed. Minister Çavuşoğlu will also hold official talks with his counterpart Minister Shahid and sign a number of key agreements between Maldives and Turkey.
This visit will mark the first ever official visit to the Maldives by a Turkish Foreign Minister.
