PCR testing no longer required for fully-vaxxed tourists

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said arrivals in the Maldives would not be required to undergo PCR testing before their arrival if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

In its most recently updated guidelines, HPA said those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 using vaccines approved for emergency use by WHO and approved by the MFDA do not need to undergo PCR testing prior to their arrival.

Additionally, HPA said tourists departing from guest house islands would not need to undergo PCR testing before their departure.
