Gov't seeks parties to construct housing units in two islands

The government is seeking a party to construct housing units in Feydhoo, Addu City, and Aa. Rasdhoo.

The announcements published by the Finance Ministry state that 75 housing units would be constructed in Feydhoo and 50 units in Rasdhoo.

Those interested in the Feydhoo housing project may submit their bids before May 20. Parties interested in the Rasdhoo project have until May 25 to submit their bids.

Bidders are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 500 to participate in the bid. The procurement approach used for the projects would be National Competitive Bidding (NCB) approach. The winning bidders must complete both the design and build components of the projects.

Last month, the Finance Ministry made similar announcements seeking contractors to build housing units in HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, N. Holhudhoo, N. Manadhoo, Lh. Hinnavaru, L. Gan, and Ga. Villingili. Earlier this month, the ministry sought contractors for housing projects in Ha. Dhidhdhoo, Lh. Kurendhoo, Fuvahmulah City, and Hithadhoo island of Addu City.
