MDP opens submissions to propose amendments to its Constitution

Main-ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has opened the opportunity for members to propose amendments to the party's Constitution.

MDP said proposals were opened for submission on Tuesday and that the opportunity was open until June 30.

Proposed amendments can be submitted by filling out a Google Form. If more than one amendment is being proposed, the same form must be submitted with the article number mentioned. A PDF and MS Word file of the amendments should also be attached.

The MDP's internal elections were held last month, and Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail was appointed as the Chairperson of MDP. Fayyaz has said he will bring significant changes to MDP.
