Maldives Meteorological Service has said heavy rain is expected in most parts of the Maldives for the next two days.
The Met Office said thundershowers are expected in the islands between Laamu atoll and Addu City for the next two days. While rainy weather will be experienced in Male' City, it is not expected to be bad for the northern islands.
According to the Met Office forecast, the weather is expected to clear on Thursday. Authorities have advised travelers to be vigilant during travel.
