Ithaafushi Resort ranked third in 'World's Best Award'

Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi Resort has been named the third best hotel in the world by Travel+ Leisure magazine.

Travel+ Leisure selected Ithaafushi, a resort jointly developed by a middle-eastern billionaire and local businessman Mohamed Ali Janah, as one of the 'World Best Award' recipients. Italy's Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco and Greece's Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection, won the first and second places.

Operated by Hilton's luxury brand Waldorf, Ithaafushi Resort has previously been ranked first in the world as well as in Asia. The resort's spa has also been named the number one spa in the Maldives. One of the most famous resorts in the world, the resort has hosted world leaders, famous celebrities, and other well-known personalities.
