The Bank of Maldives (BML) has entered into an agreement with the Maldives Surfing Association (MSA) to become the Official Sponsor of all national surf teams.
As part of this partnership under BML's commitment to support the development of sports in the country, the bank will also support the annual National Junior Surfing Championship organized by MSA, to promote the development of young talent in the sport.
BML’s In-charge and Acting MD, Aishath Noordeen, said the bank was happy to partner with MSA through the bank's Islamic arm. She said the bank hopes to make a real difference in promoting the sport and supporting young athletes to achieve their professional dreams.
BML continues its investment in sports with partnerships with national associations of football, swimming, and tennis. Most recently, as part of its 40th Anniversary monthly initiatives, the bank announced its Sports Scholarship for top athletes in association with Maldives Olympic Committee.
