Sujatha appointed as MPAO's new CEO

Sujatha Haleem has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO).

Sujatha's appointment comes a year after the office's former CEO, John Grindall, was sacked. John was sacked on October 12 last year.

Sujatha has been the Chief Operating Officer of the Pension Office since 2015. She has been fulfilling the role of MPAO's interim CEO of the Pension Office since the position became vacant.

According to the Pension Office Act, the CEO of the Pension Office is appointed by MPAO's Board. A CEO is appointed for a term of five years.
