Five hundred land plots to be allocated from S. Hithadhoo

The Addu City Council has announced that 500 land plots of 1,500 sqm will be issued from Hithadhoo, Addu City.

According to the City Council's announcement issued on Wednesday night, the opportunity to apply for the 500 plots is open until February 23. Applications will be accepted from February 5 onwards.

The City Council said the land would be allocated from two categories: one category is designated for those from Hithadhoo, under which 450 plots would be issued. Fifty plots would be issued to those from other islands in Addu under the second category.

While the city council has decided to allocate land from Hithadhoo, the council had earlier announced that land plots would also be issued from Hulhudhoo, Meedhoo, and Feydhoo. According to the city council, 100 land plots of 2,000 sqft will be issued from Fulhudhoo and Meedhoo each. Another 300 plots of 1,500 sqft will be issued from Feydhoo. Therefore, including Hithadhoo, a total of 1,000 land plots will be issued from Addu.
