The laboratory services provided at the state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IMGH) have come to a halt due to a problem with the water system of the hospital's adjacent wing, Dharumavantha Hospital.
A tweet posted by the hospital on Thursday said the laboratory services had been temporarily suspended due to a problem with the water system of the Dharumavantha building. The hospital apologized for the inconvenience and said an announcement would be made as soon as the issue was resolved.
An IGMH official told AVAS that no services would be available from the laboratory at the moment. However, he said samples of patients admitted at IGMH are being sent to the Hulhumale Hospital for testing.
