A 43-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into an office and stealing over MVR 700,000.
The police said the theft from an office located on the first floor of a Henveiru building was reported to the authority on April 23. According to the police, the suspect was arrested on Tuesday, and over MVR 500,000 was recovered from the man's residence.
The Serious and Organized Crime Department is further investigating the case.
