The State Trading Organization (STO) has been awarded the contract to purchase and hand over 20 ambulances to the Health Ministry.
The agreement was signed by Health Minister Ahmed Naseem on behalf of the Health Ministry. STO's CEO, Abdulla Saeed, signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
Under the agreement, 20 ambulances are to be delivered to the Health Ministry within 90 days.
STO has already provided ambulances at the request of the Health Ministry. In April last year, 96 ambulances were provided to the ministry by STO.
