The Maldives government and the Government of Serbia concluded the signing of key agreements during Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid's ongoing visit to Serbia.
The agreements signed between the two countries include an agreement on trade, investment, and economic cooperation, an air services agreement, an MoU between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives on cooperation in the field of diplomatic education, and an MoU in the field of sports between the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment of the Maldives and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
The Foreign Ministry said the conclusion of the agreements will not only increase the cooperation in areas such as sports, trade, and people-to-people connection but is also a testament to the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.
