A state-of-the-art dredger has been brought to speed up the government's dredging projects.
The dredger, Filippo Brunelleschi from a Belgian company, has the capacity to dredge one hectare of land each day. In comparison, the dredger can accomplish in a single day what MTCC's Mahajarraf would typically achieve in four days for the same area.
The dredgers will first dredge land in Haa Alif Ihavandhoo. After that, the vessel will proceed to dredge land in Sh. Komandoo, R. Ungoofaaru, K. Dhiffushi, K. Gulhu, AA. Ukulhuas, AA. Bodufolhudho, M. Dhiggaru, and F. Feeali.
