Over 10 kg of drugs have been discovered on Baa Fulhadhoo beach.
The packets of suspected drugs were found on the island's northern beach on Tuesday morning.
A member of the Fulhadhoo Council told AVAS that ten packets of suspected drugs were found on the beach, with each packet estimated to weigh about a kilogram. These packets were found to be waterproof and contained a photo of a man, who, upon searching on Google, was identified as a well-known Mexican drug lord, according to the council member.
Police are investigating the case.
