A local man diving near You & Me resort in Raa Atoll has passed away.
The police said a 51-year-old man from R. Dhuvaafaru was taken to R. Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital when he became unresponsive during a dive around 2:00 pm on Sunday. However, the man had already passed away when he was taken to the hospital.
The incident took place while several other individuals were diving alongside the victim.
