A man has drowned tragically in Fuvahmulah City.
According to authorities, the incident was reported to the police around 7:30 am this morning. The victim, a 23-year-old local male, was taken to Fuvahmulah Hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead. Doctors at the hospital confirmed that the young man had already passed away by the time he was taken to the hospital.
Police are investigating the incident.
