The dredging of Hulhumale' Phase III Site B has commenced after the completion of Site A.
The dredging of Hulhumale Phase III began on September 22. The project is divided into three phases, with Site A reclamation covering 10 hectares, site B 29 hectares, and Site 3 24 hectares for a combined area of 63 hectares.
Urbanco has issued a notice for the owners of vessels moored in the Site B area to relocate their vessels by October 22.
Urbanco said the third phase of the Hulhumale land reclamation project will significantly alleviate the housing crisis that many residents of Male City have been enduring for many years.
In addition to Hulhumale Phase III reclamation, Urbanco is also actively working on the development of Kudagiri, Thilafushi, Gulhifalhu, and Dhiyaneru Falhu.
