The number of tourists visiting the Maldives from Germany thus far this year has crossed 100,000.
In 2022, the Maldives received 133,424 tourists from Germany, making it the fourth-largest source of tourism for the nation.
According to the Tourism Ministry, while 1.46 million tourists have visited the Maldives so far this year, the number of tourists from Germany reached 102,213 as of the 21st of this month. This accounts for eight percent of total arrivals.
As per the ministry, the largest number of tourists who visited Maldives so far this year came from Russia.
