Ifuru Island Resort, developed at R. Ifuru, has made preparations to introduce skydiving services for tourists, marking the Maldives' first-ever offering of this activity.
Ifuru Island Resort, which opened in September this year, has brought in a Cessna 208B from the UK for the purpose. The aircraft, which arrived last Friday, is equipped with all the necessary apparatus for skydiving.
Collaborating with the UK's elite indoor skydiving company, iFly London, Ifuru Island Resort will provide skydiving experiences led by Will Penny, a British professional with two decades of experience in the field. Tourists visiting Ifuru Island Resort will have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary skydiving services from this month until March of the following year.
Ifuru Island Resort is a luxury resort boasting 147 villas, six international cuisine restaurants, four bars, and other specialized amenities.
