The Maldives has welcomed 1.76 million tourists as of November 18 this year.
This marks an increase of 9.3 percent in tourist arrivals compared to the same period, during which 1.61 million arrivals were recorded. Of this year's arrivals, 64.7 percent, or 1.1 million, are from the top 10 source markets.

There are currently 1,242 tourism establishments in the country. These include 171 resorts, 903 guesthouses, 154 safaris, and 14 hotels.
