The Ministry of Social and Family Development received 302 cases in November last year.
The ministry said 131 cases of various types of child abuse were reported in November. These included 23 cases of negligence, 20 cases of physical abuse, 16 cases involving witnessing domestic violence, and 15 cases of emotional abuse. Additionally, there were reported incidents of bullying and blackmail during the same period.
Categories of cases reported to the the ministry in November:
Gender-based violence and domestic violence - 47 cases
Family issues and related - 30 cases
Disabled persons in need of care and assistance - 71 cases
Behavioral problems - 22 cases
According to the ministry, there were 164 children in state custody as of November.
