The national airline, Maldivian, is set to increase its flight frequency to Haa Alif Hoarafushi.
Maldivian currently flies to Hoarafushi thrice a week.
The airline has decided to increase the number of weekly flights, implementing four weekly flights starting April 1. The flights will be operated every Sunday Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The Hoarafushi Airport was officially opened on November 19, 2020. Night flights to the airport were launched in August 2023.
