President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has submitted to the parliament a list of candidates for ambassadorial positions in three countries.
The president nominated Mas'ood Imad as High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Dr. Mariyam Shabeena Ahmed as Ambassador to Malaysia, and Geela Ali as Ambassador to Belgium and the European Union.
The president's nominations were announced at Tuesday's Parliament session and were forwarded to the Foreign Relations Committee for further evaluation.
