Pres Dr. Muizzu defends integrity amid opposition accusations

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has asserted that he has not violated any laws and rules. He made the statement while addressing at a campaign event held Tuesday night.

At the event, President Dr. Muizzu criticized the opposition's dissemination of untruths aimed at defaming him and tarnishing his reputation. He said the opposition used similar tactics in the last mayoral election and the presidential election.

Despite facing questioning and trials in various cases previously, President Dr. Muizzu emphasized that none of the allegations against him had been proven.

"I did not do anything against the law and regulations then and wouldn't do it now. I will not do it in the future either," he said.

President Dr. Muizzu added that the opposition's propaganda will not succeed.

"You tried to blemish my name in the past and it didn't work, and it won't work in the future. There's no evidence you can show against me, even if you scour the lands and the skies" he said.
