MDP wraps up parliamentary campaign with parade in Male' City

The Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has concluded its parliamentary campaign with a special parade in Male' City.

The march commenced at 4:00 pm on Friday near the Social Center and was attended by senior MDP leadership and a large number of MDP supporters. Throughout the march, MDP echoed slogans highlighting unmet pledges and alleged deceit by the current government. According to MDP, the country's affairs have deteriorated under the current administration. MDP urged the country's citizens to vote for MDP to steer the country back on track.

A total of 90 candidates are contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections on the MDP ticket. Additionally, the party has extended its endorsement to an independent candidate running for the V. Felidhoo seat, and an independent candidate contesting the Fuvahmulah North constituency who received former President Abdulla Yameen's backing.
