The ruling Peoples' National Congress (PNC) will hold a special rally tonight to celebrate its victory in Sunday's parliamentary election.
According to provisional results, the ruling party secured a comfortable supermajority in the 20th Parliament with 65 seats, alongside several government-endorsed seats.
To celebrate the victory, PNC will be holding a special rally at the Artificial Beach in Male' City at 8:30 pm tonight. It is reported that fireworks will also be held to mark the occasion.
