The Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited has acquired two plots of land in Hulhumale'.
While the purchase price and size of the plots have not been disclosed yet, the corporation has revealed plans to build office buildings and a residential building on the plots.
The Hajj Corporation is working to reduce the cost of the Hajj pilgrimage services offered by leveraging funds from pilgrims into a profitable investment fund.
All the Hajj quotas allocated to the Maldives this year have been given to the Hajj Corporation. The corporation remains confident in its ability to deliver outstanding services to all pilgrims, even with the entire quota assigned to its operation.
