The foundation stone for the Maldives Hajj Corporation's new office building has been laid.
The office will be built on 5,000 sqft of land in front of Ameen Avenue in Hulhumale' Phase I.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the project took place on Saturday, with Hajj Corporation’s Managing Director, Mohamed Shakeel, along with other company officials laying the foundation stone during the event. The project, valued at MVR 79.1 million, has been awarded to Medtech Maldives, with the project set for completion in 1.5 years. The nine-story building is contractor-financed.
The Hajj Corporation office is currently operated from a private residence in Male'.
