Education Minister rounds up tour of Sh. Atoll schools

Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham has concluded her trip to the schools of Sh. Atoll.

The trips are part of the Ministry's mandate to share the Government's educational policy to the schools.

In the five day trip to the Atoll Dr. Shiham visited all the schools in the Atoll. On Tuesday she visited the Atoll School in Kanditheemu, followed by visits to Goidhoo school, Bileyfahi school, Feydhoo school and Foakaidhoo school the next day. Oh Thursday she visited Noomaraa school, Madhrasathul Munavvaraa in Maroshi, Sh. Atoll Education Center in Komandoo and Maaungoodhoo school. The Minister visited Funadhoo school, Lhaimagu school and Narudhoo school on Friday, and concluded her visit today by visiting Feevah school today.

Minister had met senior management of the schools, teachers, school board, PTA organizing committee and island council members. Dr. Shiham shared the Government's all-inclusive educational policy with them.

Dr. Shiham held discussions with the parties on increasing the standards at the school, challenges facing schools, Dhasvaaru program, B-tech stream and updated the authorities on the work carried out by various Ministry departments.

Discussions were also held regarding the work and training programs aimed at youth, as well as the MNDF programs run in collaboration with the Ministry.

Senior officials of the Ministry also traveled with the Minister.
