This year's Grand Finale Gala Night of the World Travel Awards is to be held in Maldives.
This is the second time the gala night will be held in the Maldives.
MMPRC said the event will be held in December in Olhuveli Beach Resort. The Grand Tour of World Travel Awards gala ceremonies are regarded as milestone events in the industry calendar, attended by the industry’s key decision makers, chief figure heads and the key trade and consumer media. The Grand Finale will give out 33 awards from seven categories.
Last year, Maldives won the Most Romantic Resort award. This year Maldives leads the nominations, including nominations for Most Popular Destination, Most Popular Dive, Honeymoon and Cruise Destinations.
