MWSC has said the Company will provide school fees for 20 students at Care Development Center.
The cheque for the fees was handed over to the Center in a ceremony held in Muleeaage today by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim. MWSC had sponsored MVR 240000.
Speaking in the ceremony Care Development Chair Abdul Hameed said the assistance given to special needs children had stalled over the years but the initiative had picked up with the assistance of First Lady. He said both private parties and Government agencies have to fulfill this social obligation.
"The gift we got from the Water company we will conduct a program for special needs children. Government agencies have to contribute to their development," Hameed said.
