Alia Investment and Maldives Blood Service has carried out a blood donation camp for Thalasseamia patients.
The camp was started by Health Minister Abdullah Nazim. The camp was opened to all.
A shield was awarded to those individuals who had donated the most blood in the past five years in the opening ceremony.
June 14th is marked as the international blood donation day.
