Maldives Association of Travel and Tour Operators (MATATO) has set a special price for guesthouses to participate in the Mata Fair 2016, to be held in Malaysia.
Speaking to Avas, MATATO Secretary General Ibrahim Munaz said that guesthouses will be able to participate in the fair at a rate lower than that of tour operators. The rates for guesthouses had not been released yet.
"We're giving guesthouses a special rate as an additional incentive for them to participate," he said.
MATATO and MMPRC will be representing Maldives in the Mata Fair 2016 in Putra World Trade Center. With over 1300 stalls and 4200 participants, the fair is expected to attract around 130000 visitors. The Fair will be held in September.
