Hassan Saaid, the fastest runner in the Maldives, has exited Round 1 of Rio Olympics 100 meter dash.
Sixty-nine runners competed in the whole heat, with Saaid coming in eighth with a time of 10.47 seconds. He was placed 58th in the ranking. He came first in the preliminaries with a time of 10.43 seconds.
First placed Usain Bolt came in first, but came in fourth in the ranking. Twenty-four runners qualified to the semis.
