Coalition partner Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) has expressed concern over the statement released by Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), which had condemned the Party for interfering in the internal matters of PPM.
A statement released by MDA denied any involvement by the Party in the affairs of another political Party. The statement also said this was the first time any other Party had expressed any discontent with MDA. MDA said a statement of this nature by PPM served only to cloud public perception about MDA and is deeply disturbed by the claims.
MDA appealed to all Parties to speak with national integrity and peace in mind.
A statement released by the Party today said the representatives for the Party Talks had been decided by the Party, adding that MDA cannot criticize PPM decisions.
