Chief Justice Abdulla Saeed has said he will try to gain the trust of foreign investors through the legal system.
At the ceremony held last night to appoint new layers, the Chief Justice said that legal graduates must pay attention to the commercial business and financial areas, and that there are projects ongoing to improve the legal system. Among this are projects to link the courts with the judicial administration in wide area network, as well as a project to establish an electronic pairing system.
He said these projects are designed to improve the legal system the way other fields are being improved, that this will establish equality and justice and will make carrying out the verdicts more complete.
